Vision
We envision a world where public lands are spaces of deep belonging, where families across America find healing, build generational connections, and discover collective power through immersive outdoor experiences.
Mission
Outdoorithm Collective transforms access to public lands by creating supportive, culturally relevant camping experiences and community networks that empower urban families to build lasting outdoor traditions.

Outdoorithm Camper Demographics To-Date
Outdoorithm Collective creates welcoming outdoor experiences that center the voices and needs of historically underrepresented communities. Our programs address documented disparities in outdoor access and participation, with a focus on urban families who have faced systemic barriers to enjoying America's public lands.
While our community welcomes all urban families, we take pride in creating culturally relevant experiences where families of color feel seen, celebrated, and supported. Our participant demographics reflect our success in building trusted relationships with communities that have historically been excluded from outdoor spaces.

Theory of Change
-
If we provide:
- Fully supported group camping experiences that remove initial barriers
- A membership-based collective community for ongoing connection
- Opportunities for shared leadership and mutual support
- Resources and tools for independent camping
- Spaces for cultural exchange and community building
-
Then urban families will:
- Gain the knowledge and confidence to camp independently
- Form lasting bonds with other outdoor families
- Organize their own camping trips with community members
- Develop their own outdoor traditions
- Feel a deeper sense of belonging in nature
- Build collective voice around outdoor access and equity
-
Leading to:
- Increased outdoor participation among historically excluded communities
- A self-sustaining network of urban camping families
- Stronger cross-cultural understanding and relationships
- More diverse advocates for public lands
- Healthier, more connected urban communities
- A transformed outdoor culture where everyone belongs
